Summary
This dataset includes the prefectural data, which is edited and integrated by truestar based on the Vital statistics provided by Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.

Features/Usages
This dataset includes the data of changes in the number of births and birthrates in the unit of Japanese prefectures. This is the data of 1935, 1947, the data in 5-year intervals from 1950 to 2010 and the yearly data from 2013 to 2020. You can also easily combine this dataset with other datasets released at Snowflake Data Marketplace such as “PREF 00 FUNDAMENTAL” by using “PREF CODE”.
For your information, the birthrate is the total number of live births per 1,000 population and the unit of it is per mille(‰).

- This dataset includes the data which of pref code and pref name are “51” and “foreign country”.
