truestar inc. population statistics every 5 year
Summary
This dataset includes the prefectural population data of over 15 years old by industries and sex, which is edited and integrated by truestar based on the data of the national census.

Features/Usages
This dataset contains demographic statistics in the unit of Japanese prefectures by industries. The industrial classification such as “agriculture and forestry” and” finance and insurance” is based on the “Japan Standard Industrial Classification” provided by Ministry of Public Management.
You can also easily combine this dataset with other datasets released at Snowflake Data Marketplace such as “PREF 00 FUNDAMENTAL” by using “PREF CODE”.

Special Notes
■ About PREF_03_CENSUS2020 and PREF_03_CENSUS2020_2
In the Census 2020, “POPULATION_15YEARS_AND_OVER” and “INDUSTRY_PERCENTAGE” are listed in separate tables. And “AGE_GROUP_5YEARS” column is added only for “POPULATION_15YEARS_AND_OVER”.
Truestar has merged two tables into one table to make them the same as 2015 and we have prepared the table without “AGE_GROUP_5YEARS” column(PREF_03_CENSUS2020) and the table with “AGE_GROUP_5YEARS” column(PREF_03_CENSUS2020_2).
Since the original data of “INDUSTRY_PERCENTAGE” does not have “AGE_GROUP_5YEARS” column, the column is edited and added by truestar.
