truestar inc. polygon and population statistics every year
Summary
This dataset includes the municipal data, which is edited and integrated by truestar based on the regional data of Digital National Land Information provided by MLIT – Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and the population statistic data of the national census.

Features/Usages
We combined polygons to make it one record per latest municipal code. This makes easier to match with the statistic data. This dataset already includes the basic data such as population or the number of households. You can analyze the trading area by cities or towns and visualize it easily.
We provide two types of polygon data for your convenience; the one which we generalized the boundary per 0.25km, and the other is the boundary of the original raw data. You can share the data by geography type and do the mapping easily with the BI or GIS tools.
