Summary
This is the master data of basic information for Japanese cities, towns, and villages processed by truestar based on administrative area data collected and processed using the National Land Numerical Information.
Features/Usages
This dataset provides basic information about municipalities, including their municipality codes and names. Using the CITY_CODE, you can easily combine this data with spatial data from the “Municipal Representative Point Data [CI_GEO_PT]” and “Municipal Polygon Data [CI_GEO_PG],” as well as statistical data from the “Municipal Survey Statistics Data [CI_ST].”
