Estimated Long-Term Care Certification and Expenditure Dataset is a dataset that estimates, at the small-area level, the number of people certified as requiring long-term care or support and the long-term care benefit expenditure across Japan as of 2022.
Data sold by Giken Shoji International Co., Ltd. is distributed by truestar Inc. on the Snowflake Marketplace. Based on official statistics published by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and the Japan Statistics Center, the number of certified persons is estimated using a microsimulation method, and by calculating the long-term care benefit expenditure per person, benefit expenditure is estimated at the 500 m mesh geographic unit.
It can easily be joined with other data such as demographic data, household composition data, consumer expenditure data, and land price data, enabling large-scale, high-speed regional analysis of long-term care demand and benefit expenditure.
Please note that this listing provides sample data. If you wish to purchase the full dataset, please contact us separately.
