GSI Functional API Visualizer is a geospatial analysis application in which truestar visualizes, as a Snowflake Native App, trade-area data provided by Giken Shoji International Co., Ltd., a pioneer in GIS dedicated to trade-area analysis and marketing in Japan. The trade-area data itself is provided by Giken Shoji International Co., Ltd., while truestar implements the application that makes this data operable and usable on Snowflake.
Based on travel time by foot, car, or bicycle from a specified point, it generates polygons (trade-area ranges) and visualizes them on a map. By specifying a latitude and longitude, you can also retrieve statistical information for the area within that range, such as population composition, household annual income, and consumer expenditure.
