Features/Usages

“Prefecture Weather Forecast” is a weather forecast announced by the Japan Meteorological Agency at 11am, and 5pm every day. For precipitation forecasts, in addition to the probability, the precipitation reliability column shows the accuracy of the precipitation forecast. Furthermore, upper and lower limits are provided for the highest and lowest temperatures, and the probability that actual temperatures fall within this range is about 80%. By associating it with the prefectural forecast area code, it can be easily combined with other meteorological forecast data tables published on PODB for analysis.

Due to data processing reasons, tomorrow’s row is included but all values will be Null. For information about tomorrow’s forecast, please refer to “Japan Meteorological Agency Weather Forecast_Recent 3 Days” or “Japan Meteorological Agency Weather Forecast_Recent 2 Days_Temperature”.
