This dataset is an analytical dataset processed by truestar and given spacial data based on latitude and longitude information of 250m mesh by prefecture released by the G-Spatial Information Center.

Features/Usages

This is a dataset of 250m mesh data with prefecture codes and names. Spatial data is assigned from the latitude and longitude information in the original data.

Since the prefecture names are also assigned, only the necessary prefectures can be extracted by filtering. However, there are overlapping meshes at the borders of adjacent prefectures. Please use the flag in the “DP_FLG” column for overlapping meshes.

By combining mesh aggregate values of point data from your own stores, competitor stores and membership data with population data, you can utilize this information to select areas for store openings and evaluate existing stores.
