Summary

This dataset is for analysis by municipality, processed and integrated by truestar based on administrative area data (polygon data) from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's National Spatial Data Information and the population statistics data of the national census published by the e-Stat government statistics.

Features/Usages

Polygon data is merged so that there is one record per the latest municipality code, making it easy to match with statistical data by municipality. It contains basic statistical data such as population and number of households from the beginning, enabling effortless trade area analysis and visualization at the municipality level. There are two types of polygon data: one is generalized by 0.25km unit boundary lines to reduce its weight, and the other is not. You can use them depending on your purposes of analysis. By sharing it in the GEOGRAPHY type, you can easily map it in BI tools and GIS tools.
